Fees

All Psychology and Accredited Mental Health Social Worker services are exempt from GST.  Payments are made on the day of consultation by Cash, EFTPOS or Credit Card.

Referrals

A referral from your General Practitioner (GP), Paediatrician or Psychiatrist is required to access Medicare rebates for Psychology and Accredited Mental Health Social Worker sessions.

If you plan to use private health insurance for your treatment, you do not need a referral.

Medicare

A mental health care plan is completed by your GP and provides access to Medicare rebates for up to 10 individual sessions and 10 group therapy sessions per person, per calendar year. These sessions can be conducted face to face or via online therapy.

Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA)

Psychology and Accredited Mental Health Social Worker consultation fees may be covered as a DVA White Card holder. Please consult with the Department and you will need a referral from your GP.

Private health insurance

Private health insurers may provide rebates for Psychologist and/or Accredited Mental Health Social Worker services – please confirm your level of cover with your insurance provider.
